Abstract

This paper presents cytological data on Myllocerus undecimpunctata, a pest on cotton. Spermatogonial metaphases reveal 20 autosomes and 2 sex chromosomes. The treatment with Pyrimidine-2-Thiol reduces the fertility probably by disorting diplotene, thus it becomes imperative to suggest to control the pest by this chemical.
