Current Overview on Colon Specific Drug Delivery

Colon drug targeting that was utilizing oral route is proven to be one of the most preferred, acceptable, satisfactory and patient compliances factors. This colon region has been explored as a potential area of targeting for few drug candidates for both local and systemic therapeutic needs for effective management of local born colonic diseases.
